| US Lotus Elise Suspension Removal |
Elise Suspension Removal

Pictures are from a S1 Elise, US Elise suspension removal should be very similar but
may differ slightly as the US spec elise will have cross drilled disks and ABS sensors. |

Lock ring removal only necessary for removing the rear axles |

Removal of the caliper from the front suspension and hub assembly. |
Pads are held in by the caliper; notice the hydraulic line going to the second caliper piston.

Once the caliper is removed the disk should easily come off of the hub. |
US disk will be drilled and vented 11" and have a 4 x 100mm bolt pattern |
The whole assembly can be removed once separated from the steering rack.

Remove the shock and then disconnect the steering rack with a tie rod end puller. |

Removing the blots that hold the A-arms in place is a difficult due to space limitations |

Removing the rear A-arm and hub assembly is similar to the front |

With the rotor removed the shock is easily unbolted |
Shock removed, the shock is height adjustable using a series of snap rings |

The rear hub carrier is removed from the top A-arm exposing the shims used for changing rear alignment settings. |
