Cool Thinking about it?

Hello all, I've been reading through ALL the forums and I would like to know what you all think if it would be a good idea to get the '05 lotus as a daily driver. I am 16, in High School and college, a boy scout, avid churh goer, etc (responsible ) As of now I have an Eddie Bauer Explorer '95. I raced Karts for a couple of years and know how to drive stick so i know how to handle a fast moving car. I wouldn't use it to race or anything just as a cool Daily Driver. I have the money (since i have no bills) and my parents think it might be time for me to upgrade my car finally by splitting the bill. My father also owns an automotive repair shop, so i could get parts at cost and have certified mechanices help me replace the parts. What do you guys think? any suggestions to turn me away from the elise? or am just sold on it?

um..to be honest...its way too fast of a car for an inexperienced driver. I'd say hold on to what you got til you're at least 18, then upgrade.
