Elise due next week

Hi everyone,

Well I sold my 993 Porsche 2 weeks ago and found a Chile pepper red 2007 Lotus (used) to replace it. I bought the Elise the day before Thanksgiving and now I am waiting for it to be delivered. It should be here early next week. It has a hard top, touring package, sport package and 3500 miles. I am located in Florida so driving weather is perfect.

I look foward to conversing over the forum.

Vonquik

Awesome! I just bought my Exige the day before Thanksgiving too! It's black, touring package, 2006 with 5k miles. I had to sell my 930 about 5 years ago when I started my business. Let's hope the Loti don't cost as much as the Porsches to keep in tip top shape!

Havoline 5W-40 is the manufacturer recommended oil weight/ brand. You must use this weight sythetic. The only other company that makes it is Castrol.

Thank you Robert!

Ill change to the Havoline is it true that you have to use a Lotus oil filter to keep warrranty other filters void it.

Yes. If you have a mechanical failure that can be traced back to oil, then the oil filter specification becomes critical. While there are "regular" filters which work, Lotus requires the use of their filter.
