New member from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada....sort of...
Hello all! New to the Lotus Elise. Sort of. Been following along for a little bit now. I bought a 2005 Lotus Elise in chrome orange(i think) with only 1700Miles on her. However, she was in an accident, so I did get her for a good price. Only stipulation is that it cannot be driven on US roads under the same VIN#. But stupid me, I did not check with transport canada and the RIV before I bought her and now she's sitting at the border with no way in! Has anyone gotten this??!?! She only needs minor repairs and she's brand new, but I can't seem to find a way to get her into the Canada...I guess I could be parting out a very low mileage Elise soon....
