Hey Yall!

I am a simple country man, own around 700 acres, have tractors, bulldozers, etc. I now own a yellow 2005 Elise. I have never had anything like this (bought it last Saturday), and as my wife puts it, "I'm addicted". The person I bought it from said he never listened to the CD, because he loved the engine sound. I thought he was nuts. I have since learnt he was right. Plus, all the attention it draws is nice too.
Has anyone looked into putting an aftermarket supercharger on their's. That may be a mistake, since it is not stock.
Later gator.
Rick

Welcome Rick.

There are a few supercharger options in the aftermarket world for the Elise.

There also has been some chatter about Lotus making their supercharger available at some point for the NA cars, although I'll believe it when I see it.

yes RD that may be so, however it'd never get around a D9 dozer.

Its a D3, not a D9

My dozer is a 2001 D3G, LGP. It is fun to drive, because of the power it has (different kind of power than the Elise). I have found that beer and heavy equipment go together. Seems every time I do dozer work, I have a cooler attached. I have even made a huggy with velcro, so my beer won't fall off the dozer.
I am considering getting a BWR s/c. MORE POWER!
Later gator.

rick, i was making a joke about the d9. i can't imagine anyone having one of those beasts for personal use.

personally, i'd take anything with a blade... i need to cut in an access road back.

a d3 would certainly fill the bill. i'll probably rent one next spring after the rains, and maybe a roller too.

cheers.

Are you Manly?

Also what is a NA Elise? Why will this beat a s/c Elise?
As you can tell, I am very green on hot rod terminology.

NA=naturally aspirated, ie. not SC or turbo

also, i don't think the term "hot rod" has ever been used in conjuntion with a lotus. congrats on a first.
