Automotive Engineering International - May 2004

There was a small reference to the Lotus Exige in the "Technical Highlights from Geneva" Article.

Along side its new 111R, Lotus had its second-generation Exige at Geneva. This is a racecar for the road, says the company. Like the 111R, it is powered by a 141-kW (189-hp) 1.8-L VVTL-i Toyota engined governed to a maximum 8500 rpm. The car's 875-kg (1929-lb) mass is slightly more than the 111R, but the hardtop has an extra dynamic package to improve downforce, which is 41.2 kg (91 lb) { 19.3 kg (42.7 lb) front, 21.9 kg (48.3 lb) rear } at 160 km/h (100 mph). The car is said to be 2 s quicker than the 111R on a lap of Lotus's UK test track.

The picture in the article was a Chrome Orange car with black trim.
