Door Dings, scratches & other damage

Does anyone know how the Elise holds up against door dings with it's composite shell?
If there is a ding, can it be reapired easily?

Also, does anyone know how the body paint holds up against fading or oxidizing?

Thanks!

Dings won't appear but the paint can chip and crack.

There are a few euro Elise demos and test mules that have been running around in SoCal that look pretty rough. They've lived an abused life and the paint, black plastic and lotus nose badge are all fading.

Keep a nice coat of wax on your car. You should also cover it with a fitted cover when parked outside for any length of time. Especially those of us who live in the South/Southwest. The UV exposure is high here and will weather our cars brutally.

Yes, that is our multi-color Weathershield cover. You can choose different colors for the sides and top. There are 8 colors to choose from. We've got indoor only, indoor/outdoor and Elemental Shower-caps.

Check out all our covers: Custom Elise Covers
