I feel SOOOOOOO sorry for you guys waiting impatiently for your cars. I called my dealer on a Saturday, picked it up on a Monday, paid too much and didn't care. I love the car and would have waited a year if I knew how great it was! I got lucky. I had two choices; ardent red and racing green with yellow racing stripes. The green was butt ugly with the racing stripes, so I took the ardent red.
I love the car and you will love yours too!! Guaranteed. I don't care what you have driven in the past, this car is different. You will have to learn to drive all over again. Take your time getting used to it. DON,T push it until you have worked your way up the speed scale slowly. The handling is so perfect that when you expect to "drift", it just doesn't happen. "Live to drive, and drive to live." A little plagiarism from the my motorcycle riding friends.

I've had my Elise about a month now and the clear bra is well worth the money.

Summer is construction time around here (NE Ohio) and there are roadworks everywhere. The worst sound in the world is small pebbles and rocks dinging off your new car's bodywork.


Despite all this, the body has suffered no paint chips or dents. The bra has taken a few shots, but no tears or rips that I can find. It covers all the right places and is barely visible.

I wouldn't buy the car without one. And the molded-in "Lotus" logo on the material is pretty slick. At least that way you know you got the OEM stuff.
