Elise Drive at Palm Beach

I heard that PB Motorcars got their demo so I went over and had a drive.
Inital impression was that this was a well finished-put together car. Getting in was not really difficult and similar to entry into my GT3 with the euro seats.
Sitting behind the well you feel very comfortable right from the gitgo. Everything is right where you want it. The throttle and brake are close -perfect with side of the foor ( heel and toe) down shifting.
The car was ultra responsive with great engine sound-very deep, gutteral.
Take offs were smooth all the way to the 8,000 rpm light-shift indicator.
The best is the handling-go cart-like. Power was good. Definitely not as quick as the GT3 but plenty of go. The addition of the air did not seem to take away much of the oomp.
In conclusion, I'm really glad I ordered the car almost three years ago. The dealer told me my car was already built and I should have it in the next three-four weeks.

Lon,

When you get the Elise the GT3 is going to need a "work out" once in a while, please feel free to contact me if you need help! :D

call me a giver!

lrattner,

You will undoubtedly want both cars at the track for track days, as you won't want to make either feel left out. I'll fly down and drive which ever one you're not for you! I'll even manage a smile when I have to drive the GT3 for you?

Gas, lunch, champagne for spraying, all my gift!
