New Exhaust Coming!

Here's a short video of a new exhaust we should have available soon. 304 stainless construction, mandrel bent and 11lbs lighter than stock. Slight increase in hp with noticeable improvement in throttle response. 25 yr warranty.

Exhaust Video

More 'musical' ;) than a stock 111R but not as loud as a Stage 2 (assuming 105 max db levels). Here are the dBs from our exhaust (tested on 111R):

Idle......... Stock 67db... Ours 69db
2000rpm... Stock 79db... Ours 81db
4000rpm... Stock 81db... Ours 84db
6000rpm... Stock 91db... Ours 95db
7000rpm.. Stock 94db... Ours 99db

Our exhaust is tuned for day to day use. Great care was taken to fit this so NO trimming of the rear diffuser is required. Production is starting next week. I should have one on display at LOG24 as well as to test on a US car. Price approx = $699.99

We'll have other tip options as well - eventually.

**edited to fix weight & price**

Is the 111R exhaust the same as the US Elise?

sooo. is this exhaust $800, or the Lotus Stage 2?

Yes, 111R and our car have close to same exhaust. I believe the US stock exhaust is a bit louder than the 111R since euro noise regs are stricter.

$800 is our approximate pricing.
**edit: $699.99 reg price**

Can we see back to back dyno graphs of stock vs. your exhaust to see that there is no loss of torque anywhere? I like the weight improvement.

I'll post the dyno results as soon as we get them.

Quicksilver's Elise Exhaust has arrived. It's official weight, measured on our FedEx scale, is 14.6 lbs. That's more than 11 lbs lighter than stock and 3 less than the Stage 2. We plan to have dyno results sometime next week. No diffuser mods needed. On sale now $649.99 (reg $699.99)

We completed our first dyno runs the other day. Because of time constraints we only ran the Quicksilver cat back system. We did the testing on a DynoJet at The Dyno Shop. The results look very encouraging. BTW: stock exhaust weighs 25.6 lbs.

We had pretty ideal temps/pressures which resulted in a very low correction factor of 1.01. The temps were 75degF and 30.03 in Hg. Gotta love that San Diego weather!
