Titanium Exhausts for Elise

Sector 111 has just been named the exclusive distributor of some great Titantium exhaust systems from Japan. These 'Track-only' systems come in twin tip and single tip configurations. The single tip weighs 10.3lbs vs. 25+lbs Stock!

I drove a car with the twin-tip on Motegi racetrack last weekend and it sounded sweet.

The single tip actually comes out at an angle, not straight back. Both come out above the rear diffuser. It is pretty damn hardcore. Not for the faint of heart!!!

We're really excited about the quality of these bits and can't wait to make more of them available to you.

Sector 111 now has the Arqray & KMS exhausts available for order on the website. Please place your order ASAP as stock is limited on these tasty bits. Click here.

From doing some reading...and I am no expert...Lotus apparently did a great deal of fine tuning on the exhaust and according to them after market exhaust systems could result in a decrease in horse power.

Have you heard this?

I would love to hear your coments.

Thanks

Yes, a poorly designed exhaust could result in loss of power. None of the systems we sell suffer from this problem. Truthfully don't expect more than single digit improvements - just expect lighter weight and better sound!

Here is the double-tip Ti version on my car.

Lotus is referring to the bifurcated aspect of the header and start of the downpipe leading to the cat. Past the cat you're not going to kill power unless you have an inappropriate muffer in place. Our headers use an insert that mates up with a similar element in the tubing that attaches after the header.

If someone made a cat or a test pipe to mount to the stock header and ignored this feature output would be harmed.

Toyota set this up to help with cold start emissions...it hurts performance a bit. A more conventional header could help out a bit if well designed.

Do these bits up HP (single digits?) besides reduce weight? DB level at Laguna Seca is 90, more and one gets the dreaded black flag. Track only parts are not DOT street legal, yes?
