Your best bet is Shinoo Mapleton of Sector 111 (www.Sector111.com) who is developing and importing a number of aftermarket parts for the Elise.

I talked to K&N Engineering and they said they have nothing out for it, their vehicle list doesn't include the Elise so i'm not sure if they are planing on doing anything yet. They do however have a kit for the UK Elise's but assuming the motors are different the kit wouldn't work.

(On behalf of Pipercross)

We don't normally hijack threads, so apologies first of all (I couldn't find a contact email on the PSC site!).

Our press release for the 111R/Exige can be viewed at http://www.pipercross.net/newsletter...104/index.html

The kit itself was developed with a local Lotus dealer and the initial reaction seems to be good - it's already our most popular VIS filter!
Lotus (UK) currently have a VIS kit for evaluation so we've got our fingers crossed for the results.

We are currently looking to take on dealers in North America / Canada but would be interested in any group buys you want to run.

Any thoughts/views on the product are welcome!

Reverie makes an excellent carbon fiber cold air intake (Model 230 CX) that I currently have on my 2005 Elise. Here are the website urls if your interested:

http://reverie.ltd.uk/shop/products.php?g1=63fa71
http://reverie.ltd.uk/shop/products....2dc6&g2=235f13

The intake made a significant difference in both throttle response & deepend the overall Stage II exhaust note. I was pleasantly surprised, the intake matches well with the stage II. Now, it's even louder when the 2nd Cam kicks in!!!

Reverie also makes a side air intake (similar to that seen on the Exige) which connects directly to a 100mm tube leading up to the engine air intake creating a Air-Ram effect. I'm hoping that Reverie will eventually make the exact same side air intake with louvers (currently on the Elise) to create the same Ram effect without changing the asthetics. You figure this could add a few more HP!

Bluestreak, I was planing to get the same 230 CX filter that you mentioned. How has it been working so far? And where did you purchase it from? I was told to talk to Sector 111 and they have been waited to get it in for me for about a month now, but no word yet. Actually they have not even told me any pricing. How much was it??

Also have you seen this scoop?

http://reverie.ltd.uk/en/gallery/induct_27.php

The upper scoop can work standalone or with the lower (outer scoop) I dont like the looks of the lower scoop in the picture that sticks out further. I agree with you, in that I think the stock fins look nice. I plan to get the inside scoop however that connects to the 230CX intake and just have the carbon fiber exposed finish without the additional outer scoop.

It would be helpful to see any dyno info with either style of intake as well as modified exhaust to see just how much improvement or HP loss each intake makes. Making more noise is one issue but if it does not make more horsepower whats the sense. You might as well be a ricer.

I have dyno results to prove a nice increase, too busy to post, good gains, better sound.
