Unhappy HELP - Engine problems on new Exige

This morning I start my engine of my 2006 Exige, and I notice that it is slowing down within a couple of seconds afterwards. I am still parked in my garage and the gear is in neutral. The car has driven 300 miles, as it is 1.5 weeks old.
So, I hit the gas and the engine starts running even slower. The second time I hit the gas, the engine stalls...

I turn off the AC, as it was running on batery power, and I restart the engine and have the same problem: engine stalls !!

The third time, I start the engine, all seems OK, and I hit the gas. All is OK, as the engine is working properly again.

Any ideas what this can be ?

And call you Lotus dealer/mechanic asap!

Best of luck.

I have the same problem that when the engine is cold it does not want to run. Let it idle fro a minute and the engine runs smooth. Had it at the dealer for the problem and the dealer does not find anything wrong. (typical) At this time I have no solution. The car runs great when warm

Issues resolved.

They changed a whole bunch of airco related parts, as my car used to hold back as well when revving. The regulator was replaced, as well as some other stuff, and reprogrammed. Overall, the car is MUCH more responsive, and no issues when starting. The dealer told me that there are more people with the same problem, and that they where going to keep extra regulators in stock...

If you have comparable issues, GO TO THE DEALER, and get it fixed under warrentee.

They kept my car a week to get it sorted out !
