Tail and head light replacement

Anyone replaced the tail light lamps with an LED configuration?

Anyone replaced the headlamps with something fancy like a set of PIAAs? Did it make much of a difference?

you dont have to take apart the lenz from the housing. Its acutally two pieces. Remove fender liner. i beilve its two bolts then you pop the clear plastic cover off.

The new lights for the rear are going to be led. Just wait a little longer and you can get oem replacements.

LED tail lights

You can buy aftermarket LED tail lights from the following site. About $150.

PIAA light replacement

Y'all probably already know this, since it's an older thread- replacing the bulbs is relatively easy IF you remove the front wheels. The front plastic fender comes out soooo much easier. I replaced my bulbs with PIAA 4000K bulbs and I detected a big difference. Oncoming traffic notices me better too, when I flash my hi beams. Worth the upgrade, cheaper than the HID conversion, and close enough for govt work....
