Clear Bra full kit and/or light protection Group Buy in San Diego
I am arranging a group buy for full-kit clear bra packages for the Elise (in my case) and any other car type in the San Diego area using a highly regarded installer (Premier) and the VentureShield film (better than StarShield [3M film] in many folks opinion, particularly for darker cars). And, it costs less (including installation) than getting the StarShield package from Lotus. The installer also does just the headlights and turn signals, in case that is all you want. You can see the full description at the following URL
Clear Bra and Light Protection group buy
I need to get a sufficient list of interested parties, the sooner the better, for the group buy in order to get Premier to commit to coming to San Diego. I am shooting for around April 22-23 if possible, as my Elise should be ready for pickup around April 19 (I hope I hope I hope).
Please Private Message me if you are interested.

Hi Chris, ...Hope you get enough people,....it will definitely be worth it. I've had clear bras on my other cars before, and let me tell you, the coverage area that Premier provides is far better than anything out there. The best part is that they are nice people and does outstanding work.
BTW, what color did you get?

Bordeaux Red Pearl with Biscuit interior
Are you polar on EliseTalk? Polar's experience was one of the reasons that I am trying to go with Premier. My difficulty is to get enough people to justify Premier coming to San Diego just after my car arrives so I can really drive it (without a lot of masking tape, that is).
Did you worry about driving yours before you got the clear bra put on?

I am not Polar. But I saw his pics and review from Elise talk as well. Premier worked on my car the day before they did Polar's. I met Sam at a Ferrari meet and saw some of his work on other Ferrari's and exotics, which was what really impressed me. My friend Ren(he is on Etalk) had a 360 Modena that was completely wrapped with the clear bra. He was the one that introduced me to them.
When I picked up my Elise, I brought some 4 inch wide tape and taped it all over the front end of the car. It looked really funky, but at least I didn't get any chips. Actually, I did get 2 small chips on the rocker panels, but it's not too bad. I've heard from other owners that they just drove really slow and far away from other vehicles. But they are still succeptable to maybe 1 or 2 small chips.
Just wondering,....for the group buy to go through, do all the participants have to be in San Diego? or can some of them be from L.A. as well?

To Premier, the main criteria is that the installs in a group buy be done in a local area so that he doesn't have to travel between sites a lot (the way I understand it). However, much of the L.A., Orange County, and Riverside County areas aren't too far from where I am in Northern San Diego County (1 to 2 hour drive). In fact, I would be willing to drive up to one of those locations for my install if we could get more participants that way. Someone just has to volunteer their garage, with space to work, for the installs, and a driveway for washing cars before the install. And, of course, they would have to put up with us and Premier hanging out at their house, unless they have an industrial/commercial garage space that could be used.
