US Noble M12 costs?

I'm thinking of buying the US version Noble M12. It comes fully assembled (chassis, paint, wheels, etc.) EXCEPT for the engine and transmission. It uses a V6 3.0 liter Ford Duratec engine. My question is, how much would it run me to find and install the engine and transmission? I just want to see if it's worth it to me since I missed out on the Elise.

Thought I saw about a $20,000 difference between the price of the car
with, and without the engine & trany
installed.

Post Noble Costs

I've done quite a bit of research on this vehicle because of my interest in it also. The base vehicle without any upgrades or an engine (no AC, Leather, Stereo, Metallic Paint, Alarm, etc...) is 56,700. With all the options and without an engine (rolling chassis) the Noble would cost 63,654. 1G Racing estimates the Engine and drivetrain at 15,000. That doesn't include the installation cost, which has to be done by someone other than 1G Racing. The only people in the US that I could find that sell this vehicle are at 1G Racing in Ohio, (866) 612-6625. The contact is Ron Rosen. The Noble fully loaded with the engine and transmission installed OTD is approx. 88,000. That is with every possible option you can get. If you contact The people at 1G Racing, they will send you a large UPS envelope full of a lot of GREAT info about the car including a DVD of the factory where they are built, very neat. They also have some write ups in there as well as some actual photographs of the car.

Hope this helps,

Max

If you willing to pay 30k more on a turn-key US Noble, why would you think that you "missed" out on the Elise? Just because you didn't get your deposit in, shouldn't exclude you from ownership. I don't have a deposit on this car, but expect to have one delivered this summer. How? Simple paying the 5k premium some dealers on asking for on the cars they have allocated just for this type of mark-up.
