Delivery

Hey guys,
I'm in West palm Beach, Fl. Has ANYBODY taken delivery, or even test driven this supercar yet? I can't seem to get a straight answer from Palm Beach Motor Cars!!

No dealer has delivered a car to a customer yet. Lotus is waiting for all dealerships to have a demo before making deliveries of customer cars. Some dealers MAY be getting a few customer cars in addition to their demos. WPB is having a preview party when they get their demo and the OK that its permitted for all dealers to show them which should be around July 15th.

I have driven a non US version that they had on loan from Lotus about a year ago, but they havent had an US version test demos with the Toyota engine in it. When they get the demo in they will be letting people who have left deposits take a test drive to make sure that they want to keep their order. It is very dificult to get into the car and it is small.

It looks as though they have a demonstrator. It's shown parked out in front of the dealership. I just found it, and will give them a call tomorrow (Monday 6/28), to see if I can get a test drive. I have some vacation time coming up next week, and would'nt mind the drive down to Miami Beach. I currently own a 2000 BMW Z3 roadster, which I bought new, and would love to compare.

That car is not a US version, since it has the foglamps.
I know it was there a while ago but dont think it is there now.

Beware that Prestige is not selling at MSRP. A lot of people I have spoken with have taken their deposits back and gone with Palm Beach Motors instead since they are selling at MSRP.

Check out the dealer ratings and you will see that Prestige has a lot of complaints.

I drove one with the Toyota engine in it and I was blown away. When the second cam kicks in, it is quite an experience.

Again, thanks for the informative info. I will check this out VERY carefully! I guess it's the wait that's got us all.
