Other potential buyer in this area
I put up a deposit to hold an Elise. Since there is no Lotus dealer in Oklahoma, I spoke to dealers in Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, utlimately putting up my deposit with the dealer in Austin. I am told I am 29th in line at that dealership.
The deposit is refundable. The biggest concern I have is how the Elise will be as a daily driver. Reviews of the European versions indicate that it is so unrefined that it is not practical for someone who does not intend to enter in rallies or autocross events.
I'd be interested in hearing from other Buyers/potential Buyers in this area.
