Hi Mason,

I am using OZ wheels with A048 LTS tyres. The grip of 048 is far much better than the RE040. Most of the Elise owners in Hong Kong swap wheels & tyres once they get their car.

Tom,

We don't get the RE040 here with the stock wheel and tire combo. We get Yoko AD07 and the A048 with the sport suspension.

I'm also looking for some tire weights for the AO48's if you know what they weigh or know of any resources that list Yoko tire weights I'd appreciate the help.

Actually the front wheel weighs just a tad over 12lbs. We've got 'em in stock as well!

I had them on my MKIV Supra TRD suspension. Loved the Anthracite with my Baltic Blue.

I'm planning on getting a set for the much anticipated SY LSS, giving the SSR's the A048's and getting some higher mileage skins for the big street miles I plan to put on immediately after delivery.

I read the A048's can be side/side swapped for more wear? That's a twist (pun intended) if it is indeed doable.

Any opinions on loss of "lotus tuned perfection" if I use the SSR's with the sticky rubber and keep the "pretty" wheels for the streets/high mileage?

I installed SSR wheels and A048 on my Elise and I love it. I installed them with a set of Ti bolts that came from Japan. I will be setting this car up with a set of Motons. I will test it on the track in two weeks. I will compare it with my wife's Elise(w/sports package) as soon as it gets here (ETA next week?).
