First Service: Wheels out of Balance

I just had my first service this week. There were two items I asked the service area to fix aside from the oil/filter change and general look over: (1) the car tracked straight from day one but the steering wheel wobbled above 80mph; nd (2) a foam liner under the black plastic sill on the passenger side was oozing out the sill's outer lip.

This was the second 1000 mile check up done at my dealer & both cars proved to have their wheels out of balance. Unfortunately Lotus did not cover this, according to the dealer. Not a big deal but irksome nonetheless-- I suggest any buyers take a quick highway run to check out their cars & bring them back immediately if they have an issue. On the plus side, the wobble is completely gone.

Is this a general issue others have had as well??
