Custom Wheels

Does anyone know if custom rims can be made for this car. I would imagine all that is needed are the specs and aftermarket rims could be made. Secondly, does anyone know of a shop that makes custom rims? I am not using this car for the track, so I am interested in all cosmetic modifications (not that is really needs much). Non-stock rims are at the top of the list. I know this is for the "bling factor", but hey, I'm 25 and single so it still has its appeal.

If you're in for the bling, then go to Giavanni or to HRE. Giavanni made the first set of aftermarket wheels for an Enzo Ferrari. HRE has many REALLY nice sets of wheels. They do customs also.

If you want bling and light weight, then I know Fikse will do a set of customs. I have a set on my Vette (18x9.5 Front and 18x10.5 Rear).

I contacted Fikse a while back about a set of custom 15" rims, and they said they only do 17" through 19" rims. I'd look at Volk Racing's CE28N or the SSR Comp rims for lightweight rims. Custom rims for this car are really unnecessary.

rims only?

Don't you want the centers of the wheels too?

Can we buy OEM? How much?

Getting LSS and interested in possibilities of purchasing the non LSS? Any ideas on price and/or if you can get the fronts in the wider?

None of the custom multi-piece wheel manufacturers will make <17" wheels. Fikse and Kinesis would be my top choices if I wanted 17"+ wheels. They've proven themselves to be the strongest. I like the way HRE's look, but I also like the way Fikse and Kinesis look and the latter 2 are race proven. I've never seen HRE's used on any race/track car.
The problem isn't w/ sizes, it's w/ offsets and PCDs. SSR has some nice, lightweight wheels, but you won't find the offset and PCD combination you want. Volk is the only one I know of that is willing to do custom PCDs, so you choose a standard size w/ it's associated offset(s), and they'll redrill the PCD for you. I don't know of another monoblock wheel manufacturer that can do that right now.

FYI: Kinesis can make wheels for the Elise...

... I have a set of Kinesis wheels that should be arriving this week for my Elise.

Fikse cannot accomodate the Elise's specs.
